What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

What types of scrap metal do you accept?

We accept a wide variety of scrap metals, including, but not limited to:
Ferrous metals:
Iron, Steel, Cast Iron
Non-ferrous metals:
Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Lead, Zinc, Nickel, Stainless steel, Titanium, Tungsten, Computer wire, Car batteries, Hastelloy, Inconel, Invar, Lucabond, Monel, Stators, Zeron

How do I prepare my scrap metal for recycling?

Please remove any hazardous materials from your scrap metal, such as oil, gas, or paint. If possible, please separate your scrap metal by type. This will help us to process it more quickly and efficiently.

How much will I be paid for my scrap metal?

The price of scrap metal varies depending on the type of metal and the current market conditions. We use up-to-date market pricing to determine the value of your materials. Prices may also depend on the grade, quantity, and condition of the scrap metal.

Do I need an appointment to bring in scrap metal?

No, appointments are not required. You can simply drive in during our business hours.

Do you offer pick-up services?

Yes, we offer pick-up services for commercial customers. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

What is the minimum amount of scrap metal that I need to have in order to recycle?

There is no minimum amount of scrap metal required for dropoff recycling. We accept all amounts, large and small.

Do you accept appliances?

Yes, we accept most appliances, including stoves, washers, dryers, and hot water heaters. 
We are currently NOT accepting AC units, refrigerators, or anything containing refrigerant.

Do you accept batteries?

Yes, we accept most types of batteries, including lead-acid batteries, car batteries, and industrial batteries.
We are currently NOT accepting Lithium-ion (Li-ion) or Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd) batteries.

Do you accept electronics?

Yes, we accept most types of electronics, including computer towers, cell phones, and printers.
We are currently NOT accepting computer monitors or TVs.

Do you accept vehicles?

Yes, we accept most types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans.

Prohibited Items

  • Used barrels – hazardous material labels must be removed (unless the top is off, it is whole and not crushed, and it has been triple rinsed)
  • Refrigerators or other units that once contained Freon (except from commercial accounts who have certification of proper evacuation)
  • Any tank, canister, or bottle (unless a hole has been cut in it and the valve has been removed)
  • Potentially hazardous material or materials containing oil or sludge
  • Transformers, ballasts, capacitors, or any other item containing PCBs
  • Any tank, machine, or other item containing gas or diesel fuel
  • Radioactive material
  • Explosives
  • Oil filters
  • Asbestos
